NIT Champs “Goo Punch”
This isn’t supposed to happen…Penn State basketball is never supposed to be any good, all they ever do is keep fans distracted during the winter and when Spring finally rolls around and the first football practices are held, nobody acknowledges their presence…They’ll never get any respect.
Well, I got two words for you: RESPECT THIS.
It’s been a century in the making but a championship banner will finally be hanging from the BJC rafters…Read that last sentence again and take a few moments to realize the leaps and bounds this program has taken.
I’ll have my Jack Handey-caliber “deep thoughts” on this season in a later blog post. In the meantime, you know the drill by now…One final “Goo Punch” until we extract revenge on Iowa this upcoming football season…I hope Danny Morrissey can still savor the celebration, chipped tooth and all.
