Look Folks, It’s Simple…
If the Fighting DeChellises beat Iowa today in the hostile confines of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, then you can pencil them in as a “lock” for the Big Dance. If Iowa pulls off the upset, then PSU will have to win one game in the Big Ten Tournament in order to avoid sweating it out on Selection Sunday.
The Hawkeyes are actually a 3-point favorite for this one, which makes a lot of sense since Jamelle Cornley likely won’t play and PSU may still be feeling a tad hung over from Thursday night. John (13-10) and C&C (10-13) are taking the home team to cover but Yours Truly (12-11) is going against conventional wisdom and picking PSU to beat the spread since it would mean tying John in the contest standings.
